Dr. Slota-Varma
Dr. Slota-Varma received her undergraduate from the University of Santa Clara in California in 1973. She received her medical degree from Loyola Stritch in Chicago in 1976. She began her pediatric residency at Loyola University Hospital, and completed it at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 1979. Dr. Slota-Varma is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Raj, have four adult children: Deborah, Julia, Anjalika, and Ravi.
Dr. Kitty founded Shoreview Pediatrics in 1982. Over the next 25 years she watched the practice, and her thousands of patients grow and thrive because of her unfaltering devotion. Kitty died on February 6th, 2007 after battling breast cancer for nine years. She leaves behind an unparalleled legacy of caring for children and their families, and a practice which she has inspired to continue on with her life’s work.

Dr. Ellen Hing
Dr. Hing received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1978 and completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit in 1982. She completed her pediatric residency in 1985 at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Hing is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Christopher, have two daughters, Sarah and Elizabeth, and a son, Joseph.

Dr. Rhonda Boldt
Dr. Boldt received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1982 and her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1987. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital in Wisconsin in 1990. Dr. Boldt is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Don, have a daughter, Linnea.

Dr. Patrick Fuller
Dr. Fuller received is undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1987, and received his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1992. He completed his residency at Indiana University, Riley Hospital for Children in 1995. Dr. Fuller is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He and his wife, Dr. Julie Fuller, are proud parents of three daughters, Shannon, Stephanie, and Jennifer, and a son, Robert.

Dr. Julie Fuller
Dr. Fuller graduated from Marquette University in 1988 and earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1992. She completed her residency at Indiana University, Riley Hospital for Children in 1995. Dr. Fuller is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Dr. Patrick Fuller, are proud parents of three daughters, Shannon, Stephanie, and Jennifer, and a son, Robert.

Dr. Jill Bresnahan
Dr. Bresnahan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1990 and graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1994. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1997. Dr. Bresnahan is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. M. Sarah Hambrook
Dr. Hambrook received her undergraduate from Xavier University in Cincinnati in 1993 and received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1997. She completed her pediatric residency, including one year as chief resident at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 2001. Dr. Hambrook is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Mike, have four children, Emma, Joe, Charlie and Martha.

Dr. Jennifer Twente
Dr. Jennifer Twente received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997 and received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001. She completed her pediatric residency, including one year as chief resident at University of Minnesota in 2005. Dr. Twente is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Brett, have a son, Nate, and a daughter, Leah.
“My goal is to help children thrive in a healthy environment. The child, family, and I work together to promote wellness and treat illness from newborn to adulthood. As children mature, I hope to help empower them to make healthy choices for themselves both physically and emotionally.”
Dr. Douglas Durand
Dr. Durand received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Saint Louis University in 2001 and his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2005 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed his pediatric residency in 2008 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He completed one year of pediatric hematology, oncology, blood and bone marrow transplantation fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 2009 before deciding to pursue a career in general pediatrics. He is scheduled to sit for the general pediatric certifying examination in October 2009. He and his wife, Meghan, are happily married and avid St. Louis Cardinals fans!
